We are in the final stretch of the year and have begun the final session of the year. Progress reports will be mailed home on May 23rd.
If you have not already done so, please take the district survey and provide feedback to LHHS/LA and the Stanwood-Camano School District. The district solicits parent perceptions our schools to help us help our students. Please click on the link below:
SCSD Parent Survey
The electronic survey will be open through May 31, 2013. Results of the survey will be analyzed by school staff to determine areas where we can improve. Results will be published in each school’s annual performance report.
End of Course exams for Biology, Geometry, and Algebra will be held on May 29-31. Students have been informed of their testing requirements and the times they are scheduled to test. Students not testing need to arrive at 12:20 on Wednesday, May 29, and at 11:00 on Thursday and Friday, May 30th and 31st.
June 3rd, 4th, and 6th, we will be on a Finals Schedule. Students will arrive at the usual time; however, the order of their classes may be different. See "Upcoming Events" for more information.
June 14th is the last day of school. Students will be released at 9:40AM.
If you will be moving over the summer, please let us know as soon as possible. We want to make sure summer mailings arrive at the correct address.

For Lincoln Academy Parents:
Believe it or not we are entering the 4th
quarter of the 2012-13 school year! Third quarter report cards will be mailed April 22.
Students will be taking the Measurement
of Student Progress (MSP) soon.
All students will test in Reading on April 24 and Math on April 26. On April 25th the 8th
graders will take Science and the 7th graders will take Writing. It
is critical that all students arrive to school on time these days. Parents can promote their son/daughter’s
success by encouraging them to get a good night’s sleep (no sleepovers!) and
eat a good breakfast on testing days.
SHS is holding a Parent Night for
incoming 9th graders. The event will be held on April 22 at 6:30PM
in the SHS Performing Arts Center.
Parents will get information about registration, athletics/activities,
and graduation requirements. If your son/daughter is planning to attend Lincoln
Hill High School next year, please contact me to discuss enrollment and
scheduling procedures.
If you have a 7th grade
student and would like to discuss continued enrollment in the Lincoln Academy
for the 2013-14 school year for 8th grade, the staff and I would be
happy to talk with you about recommendations and options.
If you have any questions, please do
not hesitate to call (360-629-1340) or email me at
